Prospective employers need to know what you are capable of doing as an English Teacher, before they hire you.

When you are done, review them to see if they are relevant. And then put the relevant ones in your resume and cover letter. Done? Not quite. Writing skills statements can be quite complex. If you are doing it for the first time, you may not be aware of the type of words and phrases that you can use. There is absolutely no need to write anything that is flowery or difficult to understand. Readability is key here.
