What made you decide to take up a career as a dance teacher?
I have loved all forms of dancing since I was little, and have trained in many dance forms. I believe that when one takes up a career that one truly loves, it is only then that one gets to succeed in life. That was my main motivation behind wanting to take up a career as a dance teacher.

What is the one skill that one needs in order to work successfully as a dance teacher?
The one obvious skill that every dance teacher needs is the ability to impart this form of education, which is not something everyone can do.

What skills set do you possess which makes you an excellent person to hire as a dance teacher at our school?
I know and can teach many different dance forms, including Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, and Tango. Apart from this, I have a great way of motivating my students, even when the going is tough for them. Moreover, I am patient, and have a knack for putting in a lot of diversification in my teaching methods and techniques, allowing students to better understand what they are being taught.

What is your biggest achievement so far?
I was recently commissioned to provide choreographing support to a Hollywood director, for a musical that is due to release at the beginning of next year. Being chosen to do this, and working with a great director is my most prized achievement till now.

What is the one thing that you want all your students to do when you’re showing them the ropes?
Once my students know the techniques that I want them to, I encourage them to improvise, hoping to bring out their creativity.

What are your 5 year career plans?
I hope to start my own dance school, a feat I am working hard towards.
