The most challenging part of working as a medical front office assistant is perhaps handling emergencies. I give emergent situations my full focus and ensure that they are kept at a priority. This makes it easier for me to juggle my work in case an emergency surfaces during regular work activities.

In a medical front office assistant role, what do you consider your weakness?
I am trying to work on me being too much of a perfectionist. Sometimes, I cannot let things go even when I know that I have done the right follow up, or have managed to do my best in getting an insurance claim to be paid. My mind never rests.

And how do you expect to overcome this weakness?
I am trying my best to realize my limitations and teach myself that I cannot do things beyond a certain point. So far, I have been 75% successful in doing this!
