There are some cover letter writing dos and don’ts that you have to keep in mind before you make an attempt to write a food handler cover letter. The problem with listing dos and don’ts is that they can never be taken at face value. You have to decipher what is wrong and not include that in your cover letter. And this may not be all that easy as you can become victim to warped perception. However, if you stick to what is specified in the next paragraph, you might not need to worry about this.

Firstly, you need to figure out what the prospective company is looking for in a new employee. Write it down. Then find out if you have the required expertise and background. Write down yes or no. When you know exactly what it is that is required from you, begin by making a table, with one side denoting all that you are capable of and the other stating what is required by the company. Better still, use the table as part of your cover letter!
