I am a great contender for a data entry analyst position at your organization for a number of reasons. I have worked in a similar capacity before, and know most of what there is to know about the work. Apart from this, I have a degree in business, with an IT major, and extensive knowledge of electronic records and data management programs. Moreover, I am exceptionally well-organized and possess excellent communication skills.
What were some of the duties that you have performed in this role, in a previous work place?
As a data entry analyst, I was responsible for collecting and compiling data to review for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that data was reviewed for deficiencies and errors, ascertained that data was entered into various programs and spreadsheets, and that all data points were checked and secured as best as possible.
What makes this work worth your while?
I have always liked working in challenging environments, and the fact that the work is challenging on so many levels, makes it completely worth my while.
What do you do to make sure that data discrepancies are few and far apart?
Discrepancies are something that I am so not comfortable with. And this discomfort is actually a welcoming thought, as I make sure that they do not transpire, implementing checks and balances on many levels.
What is your particular way to handle data discrepancy?
When a discrepancy rears its head, I stop all else that I am doing, and prioritize activities to determine where is arose from, and how it can be handled in an immediate manner. And I only sit down when I am sure that it has been resolved, and that something similar will not happen again.
How exactly would you explain your analytic skills?
I am a highly analytic individual, who can easily interpret information, and analyze results using statistical techniques. In addition to this, I can develop and implement data analysis, and data collection systems, aimed at optimizing statistical efficiency and quality.
